Furniture should belong to the space.
Most furniture is designed for showrooms.
At Khamila Design House, furniture is designed for the architecture it inhabits. Proportion, materials, and scale are considered alongside the interior environment, allowing each piece to feel natural within the space.
Our collections are developed for modern residential interiors where architecture and furniture are conceived together.

The Custom Furniture Process
Custom furniture at Khamila Design House begins with a design consultation — a conversation about the space, the architecture, and how you live within it.
From there, our team develops furniture concepts that respond to the specific proportions and material palette of your interior. Each piece is produced using natural materials selected for longevity and character, then refined through close collaboration until the result feels inevitable within the space. The process typically spans eight to fourteen weeks from consultation to delivery, depending on complexity and specification.

Materials and Craft
Khamila furniture is produced using natural materials selected for durability, texture, and timeless character. Wood, Premium wood veneers, stone, marble, and refined upholstery materials are chosen to complement architectural interiors.

Why Custom Over Retail
Most furniture is designed for a showroom floor — sized for an average room, finished for broad appeal, built to a price point. Custom furniture designed for architecture works differently.
Proportion is considered against ceiling height and spatial volume. Materials are selected to complement the finishes already present in the home. Scale is calibrated to the room, not the catalog.
For San Antonio luxury homes and Texas Hill Country residences, where architecture often sets a strong visual language, furniture that belongs to the space rather than sitting in it makes a meaningful difference.

Serving San Antonio and the Texas Hill Country
Khamila Design House works primarily with residential clients across San Antonio, the Texas Hill Country, and surrounding communities.
Our custom furniture is designed for clients who are building or renovating homes where interior architecture and furnishing are conceived as a unified system — rather than assembled from separate sources after the fact.
Whether you are working with an architect on a new build or furnishing an existing home with pieces designed specifically for it, our process is built around your project.
